Expanding the efforts of development – Golden Touch Resources (GOT.V)
On March 25th, 2011, Golden Touch Resources (GOT.V) kicked off their 2011 work campaign by announcing that they would be drilling a total of 2000 meters at their gold exploration project in northern Albania. To date, there have been six drill holes completed for around 600 meters depth at GOT's Rubik Gold District. Preliminary core samples from these 6 holes have been transported to the ALS Laboratory in Romania for further analysis. The company & its geological team at the project site seem to be very optimistic while further exploration and development continues at the work site. The team is drilling the newly discovered 1300 m long breccia gold zone to further verify previous drillings and to come to a more accurate estimate of how much gold could possibly lie beneath the ground at the project.
Then on April 27th, 2011, Golden Touch Resources (GOT.V) made an announcement that they are expanding the scope of this current phase of its drilling program. The company initially announced that it would complete a 2000 m drill program consisting of around 20 holes. This program has now been officially expanded to 4000 m and a total of around 40 drill holes. The company has brought in an additional drill rig to the work site located just north of the Albanian capital, Tirana. Mr. Aly Mawji, president of GOT, has highly regarded the expansion of the drill program in this phase of exploration as being "a very good indicator that things are going well in regards to field work on site".
Golden Touch Resources has made very steady progress in terms of developing their mining & exploration projects in the northern part of Albania. With the expansion of the current drill program, we can start to see some foreshadowing that this major announcement could be a result of the company stumbling upon some positive materials in the 6 completed drill cores. The positive results brought forth by the previous work programs have sparked an aggressive campaign towards the discovery and exploration for commercially viable mineral and precious metal deposits. If the current drill program bears similar or better results than those previous, we could see this company go from moderate to extreme in their efforts to develop a commercial sized gold producing project within Albania.
